The Falls Estate picks up prestigious award

The Falls Estate wins Urban Taskforce Australia’s Innovation Development Award, affirming its status as a premier retirement living community.

At an evening to celebrate the best of the best in the property sector, The Falls Estate has taken out the coveted Urban Taskforce Australia’s Innovation Development Award.

While we’ve always known The Falls Estate is a truly unique bushland oasis, it’s humbling to be recognised as exemplary within the property development industry group, up against so many other worthy contestants from all sectors.

Development of the Year Jury Chair and former NSW Government Architect, Chris Johnson AM, said of the win, “This development gives a new approach to retirement living in the Northern Beaches by integrating the building with its natural bushland site. The site includes an historic waterfall and dam that the 41 units in nine buildings share access to.”

Residents can enjoy a drink, meditate or perhaps practise some yoga in the gazebo, to the soundtrack of a cascading waterfall and birdsong. The Falls Estate’s location stands alone with units that are deeply integrated within the natural environment, while being just a stone’s throw away from everything you may need. Warringah Mall and Sydney’s spectacular northern beaches are on the doorstep − you just wouldn’t know it!

The Falls Estate also featured recently in The Sun-Herald, sharing the benefits of both a “tree- and sea-change” for active retirees seeking something a bit luxe for their next stage of life. The piece relays how new residents are settling in well to their dream lifestyle, so much so that they’re encouraging others to join them.  Sydney’s winter chill certainly hasn’t stopped residents from making the most of the community’s incredible grounds and outdoor facilities, which include private walking tracks.

“Our outdoor fire pit is proving to be a popular spot to stay warm and cosy, so our residents really are living their best lives in our exclusive bushland oasis,” says Sales Manager, Suzi Carroll. Read The Sun-Herald piece in full by clicking here.
