Celebrating our first birthday in true style
Everyone was in high spirits at our first birthday celebrations. As Director of The Falls Estate team, Stanley Roth gave a passionate speech, residents cheered and clapped with some shouting ‘we love it here’ and ‘best thing we’ve ever done’.
Stanley spoke about the history of building The Falls Estate and his dream, one he inherited from Sid Londish, the original brains behind the idea, of creating a ‘true retirement resort’. Both Stanley and Senior Development Manager Dan Maurici acknowledged that, while they had built a series of stunning buildings down the hillside, all with beautiful apartments, the residents themselves had been responsible for making The Falls Estate such a special place. Stanley and Dan also explained what turning One meant for The Falls Estate.

- Welcoming new people into the community as resident numbers grow
- Building a sense of belonging and friendship among residents and staff
- Events and traditions that have helped shape the community (themed dinners, weekly happy hours and morning teas, wellbeing activities, general interest clubs and more)
- Creating new programs and activities that residents are interested in.
As guests mingled and enjoyed amazing food and drinks (including 11 new residents who will be moving in very soon), and bunches of flowers were given to the fabulous onsite team, we couldn’t help but think what a wonderful place The Falls Estate is.
